Denis MANTUROV, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation told INTERFAX agency, that RUSSIA and HUNGARY are considering the issue of jointly combining "ANSAT" helicopters in EUROPE. “Today, we are really considering the issue of partnership with European countries regarding the "ANSAT" assembly in EUROPE. Currently, we are absolutely constructively assessing this issue with HUNGARY – it´s possible that such a decision will be taken”.
ANSAT is a lightweight twin-engine multi-purpose helicopter manufactured by the “Vertoloty Rossii” (Russian Helicopters) company in Russian city of KAZAN. The sole current user of those helicopters is RUSSIA, while CHINA has signed a contract for 20 ANSAT helicopters, which will be delivered between 2019-2020.
